A little bit about me

Hello! I'm Zhengkun (Steven) Sun, an MEng Mechanical Engineering student at Imperial College London (2024 – 2028), on the Year 1 Dean's List (ranked 18 of 210). I love the whole journey from sketch to working hardware — design, prototyping, and manufacturing, with great attention to detail.

I'm passionate about challenges in machine learning, robotics, mechatronics, aerospace and sustainable technology. Most of what I've learned comes from student-led projects — leading robot builds at the Robotics Society, engineering a CubeSat payload for a rocket, and shipping plenty of 3D-printed prototypes along the way.

Away from the workshop you'll find me on a snowboard, a climbing wall, or underwater with a camera.
